Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate all Integration, Verification, Validation, and Qualification (IVVQ) activities for Thales OME with the customer.
* Prepare IVVQ plans, work breakdown structures, and schedules.
* Collaborate with project and bid teams to ensure IVVQ is integral to the planning process from the start of the lifecycle.
* Define IVVQ strategy, establish related requirements, and perform estimates and scheduling.
* Specify and deploy test equipment, methodologies, and tools necessary for IVVQ and acceptance activities.
* Propose and manage the implementation of IVVQ scenarios.
* Conduct or organise testing on manufacturer sites, customer premises, or external test facilities.
* Manage and support a trials team.
* Analyse results and produce technical reports.
* Review internally and externally generated technical artefacts from an IVVQ perspective.
* Operationally lead the IVVQ engineering team, ensuring delivery of all IVVQ work products on time, within cost, and to quality standards.
* Participate in or lead all governance reviews associated with the IVVQ phase of the product development lifecycle.
* Support customer meetings for IVVQ activities and lead product demonstrations with key stakeholders.
* Lead the collation of evidence to support product VVRM population for system certification.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background with proven experience in defining and leading IVVQ for multi‑disciplinary projects. They should demonstrate a methodical, organised approach to IVVQ, strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑moving environment with multiple parallel objectives. Knowledge of the defence industry or highly regulated sectors is beneficial.

Security Clearance
This role requires Security Clearance (SC). Holding SC clearance is an advantage; if not held, the successful applicant must undergo, achieve, and maintain SC clearance. Typically, a UK residence of five years is required for full SC clearance, though a minimum of three years may be accepted in some circumstances. Further guidance is available on the UKSSV website.
