Join Amplius as a Scheme Manager, ensuring residents’ welfare, safety, and comfort while creating a welcoming community. You’ll oversee daily operations, monitor services, resolve housing and maintenance issues, and support residents as they settle into their homes.
Salary: £13,104 per year
Contract: Permanent, part time
Your week: 20 hours (Monday - Friday 9am - 1pm)
Location: Thurcaston (with occasional office visits)
Snapshot of your role
* Act as a professional role model, maintaining a high profile, safe working practices, and up-to-date knowledge through continuous personal development.
* Supervise daily activity within the scheme, providing unobtrusive support to residents and maintaining accurate records of their circumstances.
* Respond promptly to alarm calls and emergencies, providing practical and compassionate assistance until appropriate services take over.
* Promote resident independence and community engagement through the organisation and facilitation of social events, activities, and residents’ committees.
* Advise residents on accessing medical, domestic, social, or financial support and liaise with relevant authorities or services as needed.
* Monitor contractor performance, ensure high standards of maintenance for communal areas, and challenge or report poor service delivery.
* Maintain a safe and secure environment, including risk assessments, fire safety procedures, emergency lighting checks, and adherence to scheme regulations.
* Support prospective property purchasers by providing tours of properties and communal facilities as required.
* Oversee day-to-day and monthly financial monitoring for the scheme, ensuring compliance with organisational policies.

A full UK driving license is essential for this role.
DBS clearance is required for this role.
