Job Title: Asset Management / Information Officer

Following approval of our 12mppa planning application, Bristol Airport has an unprecedented period of change ahead with capital investment of £400m+. In this exciting time, we need an Asset Management / Information Officer to support our growth plan and the airport’s asset transformation.
Responsibilities
* Support the Senior Asset Manager in implementing the Asset Management System (AMS) aligned to ISO 55001.
* Establish and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and hierarchies for all asset-related information.
* Conduct data cleansing, migration, and validation to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the asset register and master data.
* Identify and support improvements to the current CMMS to enhance asset register, work management, planned preventive maintenance, and reporting.
* Provide training and support to users on the efficient use of the CMMS and other asset information systems.
* Generate asset management reports and dashboards to inform decision‑making, regulatory compliance, and asset performance.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Development, IT, Control Centre) to ensure a shared understanding of asset information management.
* Support the implementation of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
* Promote the use of GIS for asset visualisation, analysis, and decision‑making by other departments.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in asset data or information management, preferably within an asset‑intensive environment such as engineering, manufacturing, or facilities management.
* Practical experience in administering, configuring, or supporting an Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) or Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
* High level of data literacy, with advanced proficiency in spreadsheets for data manipulation, cleaning, and analysis, and experience generating reports and dashboards.
* Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of providing training and technical support to users from varied operational backgrounds.
Additional Qualifications (preferred)
* Suitable Asset Management qualification or membership of the Institute of Asset Management.
* Clear understanding of ISO 55001 principles.
* Direct experience with GIS platforms, including spatial data management and analysis.
* Working knowledge of SQL for data querying, reporting, and analysis.
* Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD or Revit, and understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes.
* Experience supporting documentation, management, and updating of as‑built information, including CAD and BIM files, ensuring accurate record control.
