Responsibilities
* Deliver the Customer Care Programme to your portfolio, adding real value to clients' businesses.
* Assist clients in minimizing tax liabilities, improving profitability, and investing and protecting their wealth, family, and business.
* Plan, prepare, and review financial accounts.
* Identify and discuss barriers to work completion within budget or opportunities for income generation.
* Resolve outstanding queries with clients before finalizing files and accounts with the Client Portfolio Manager/Managing Director/Partner.
* Prepare Business Tax Computations (Income Tax) for review.
* Ensure the preparation and submission of VAT returns for clients.
* Maintain clients' accounting records and management accounts as required.
* Prepare management information reports (monthly/quarterly/half-yearly) and advise clients on profitability and cash flow improvements, including competitor analysis, pricing reviews, dashboards, and profit reports.
* Work at clients' premises as needed and undertake special projects and other tasks reasonably required.
Candidate Profile
* Possess commercial awareness to identify additional revenue or service opportunities and engage new clients through networking.
* Effectively complete and deliver accountancy work within agreed timescales and budgets.
* Provide high-quality, proactive client service and maintain positive relationships.
* Ensure client satisfaction by resolving issues promptly.
* Collaborate with the team to achieve the practice's annual Business Plan.
* Assist the Managing Director in establishing efficient systems and procedures to develop the business.
* Have a good understanding of computer-based accounts preparation software and relevant client software, with the ability to analyze reports.
* Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
* Develop and utilize soft skills to relate effectively to clients and deliver excellent service.
Job Offer
Salary up to £45,000.
