Daily tasks consist of performing license reviews, handling software requests via workflow (and other sources), and providing advice and guidance around software licensing to colleagues and business users. Analytical Skills - Utilise strong analytical skills as a SAM Analyst to meticulously assess software usage, optimise licensing agreements, regulatory requirements, fostering cost-efficiency and risk mitigation. Communication - Ability to use language to express and share information. It includes verbal and non-verbal communication across all channels Technical Skills - Recognised as "SME" for relevant Technical Services relating to the role, you will need expertise in license management, data analysis, vendor negotiation, IT asset inventory, risk assessment, and proficiency with SAM tools. Technologist" mindset - Continuously learn, innovate, and collaborate to harness technology's power for effective software asset management and drive positive change. Decision-Making - Capable of working independently and leading own workload with little supervision, with a track record of being a self-starter.
