An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Dermatology Department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital to join the Administration team as a Clerical Officer. The successful candidate will support the Admin team by providing a high‑quality support service, producing professional letters and documents as well as performing various administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
* Typing patient letters relating to clinics in an accurate and timely manner.
* Updating RTT according to trust guidelines and performing data entry into a wide variety of trust programmes.
* Supporting the senior secretarial team and the Administration and Clerical team with data management using PAS and other departmental patient databases.
* Locating, requesting and tracking hospital notes to the department and Health Records Library and filing results and correspondence appropriately.
* Communicating electronically with secretaries regarding actions to be followed up from typing to ensure 18‑week targets are met.
* Working in line with department guidelines and policies, offering suggestions for improvements to procedures and policies to support the continual development of the service.
