Role Overview and Responsibilities


Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for improving how things work? This is an exciting opportunity to join our Power Solutions division as an Engineering Technician, where you'll play a key role in driving production efficiency and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this is a broad and varied role offering excellent exposure to manufacturing engineering processes and structured problem-solving techniques such as Lean Manufacturing and 8D. You'll receive training and support as you develop your technical skills in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.

This role is a full time, shift based role, comprising of early and late shifts.

What you'll be doing:

* Developing in-depth knowledge of our production processes and equipment

* Supporting the introduction of new parts, tooling, equipment and procedures

* Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and leading continuous improvement initiatives

* Responding to production line stops and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime

* Updating and maintaining manufacturing documentation, including operator instructions and inspection standards

* Assisting with commissioning and validation of new equipment

* Supporting structured 8D investigations and root cause analysis


Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
