Practice Manager

Location - Cramlington, Northumberland (NE23)

Hours - Full time

Salary - From £35,000 negotiable for the right candidate

An outstanding new opportunity has arisen for a Practice Manager to join a highly successful SJP Senior Partner Practice.

The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a wealth management office to ensure high standards of client service, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and team performance.
This role supports the financial advisors by managing non-advisory business functions enabling the advisors to focus on client relationships and financial planning.

You may be a Senior Administrator looking for the next step, or an experienced Practice Manager looking to further develop your skills and knowledge.

The Role:

o Your role will encompass all operational aspects of the business
o Providing outstanding client service will be of upmost importance to you
o You will ensure the seamless process from initial enquiry to completion of the advice process is always delivered
o Set weekly priorities, distribute workload, and conduct regular 1-1s to support performance management and ensure the administration team continues to learn and master new aspects of business processing
o Process new business, replacements, switches, and encashments efficiently and accurately
o Prepare meeting documentation and complete all follow-up actions promptly
o Conduct regular file reviews and quality checks
o Complete suitability reports, process applications and submit advice sets
o Liaise with advisers, providers, and administration centres to progress cases to completion
o Supporting the admin team to ensure business processes are adhered to, tracked efficiently and in line with Practice and regulatory standards
o You will coordinate communication with clients and third-party providers and deliver regular updates to the advisers
o Track leads, referrals, and pipeline activity in the CRM system and Monday.com

Qualifications and Skills

o Strong knowledge and experience within the financial services industry
o You will have a sound understanding of Investments, Pensions, and other financial planning products
o Previous experience within a St. James’s Place Partner Practice would be desirable
o Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office
o Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, with a willingness to learn how to use new systems
o Experience using Voyant and Monday.com is desirable
o Excellent leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills
o Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and able to prioritise effectively
o Strong attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication skills
