Maintenance Technician Location: Middlewich
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, Days Only

Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities across automated equipment and systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain operational performance.
Ensure all installations and equipment are maintained to the highest standard.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver maintenance and improvement activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Adhere to all health, safety, and quality procedures. Candidate Requirements
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline.
Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role.
Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
Experience working with maintenance planning and preventative maintenance programmes.
Proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Desirable Experience
Experience working within FMCG, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, or highly automated environments.
Exposure to automated material handling systems, conveyors, or logistics automation.
Previous experience coaching, mentoring, or training colleagues. Benefits
