An experienced Block Manager required to oversee a mixed property portfolio, managing leases, budgets and statutory processes while delivering consistent service to clients, leaseholders and contractors.
Worth Recruiting – Property Industry Recruitment is working with a property company based in Edgware. They are seeking an experienced Block Manager to take responsibility for a managed portfolio of residential and commercial properties.
This is a key role requiring proven block management experience, strong organisational skills and confidence when dealing with clients, leaseholders and statutory obligations.
What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
* Managing a portfolio of residential and commercial blocks
* Administering Section 20 Notices
* Preparing and managing service charge budgets
* Producing and reviewing management accounts
* Attending and conducting AGMs
* Liaising with leaseholders, clients and contractors
* Arranging repairs, maintenance and compliance works
* Ensuring adherence to lease terms and current legislation
* Handling general administration related to block management
What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience)
* Significant previous experience in Block Property Management
* Strong knowledge of residential and commercial leases
* ARLA, IRPM or RICS qualification (preferred)
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Calm and considered approach under pressure
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Ability to prioritise workload effectively
* Confident team player with a professional approach
* Willingness to stay up to date with training and legislation
* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
