Inventory Controller
RAF Coningsby
Rate: £18.21 PAYE or £24.32 Umbrella inside IR35
Contract: 12 months
Onsite 5 DAYS
in BAE Systems as an Inventory Controller, supporting the efficient maintenance of the Typhoon aircraft. You’ll play a critical role in controlling, tracking, and moving spares and equipment throughout the maintenance cycle—from receipt to dispatch. This role sits within the Mil Pt 145 environment and is governed by strict legislative standards.
The Job
1. Maintain full accountability for all aircraft spares and asset movements.
2. Register, track, and input accurate data into TMF Logs, IMS, MJDI, and Maintenix systems.
3. Manage physical control of spares through regulators and VSU.
4. Ensure all transactions comply with Mil Pt 145 regulations.
5. Liaise with engineering, logistics, and internal/external stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and keep maintenance schedules on track.
Skills
6. Good IT and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
7. Effective communicator with high interpersonal skills.
8. Understanding of RAF supply chain and Typhoon operations
9. Self-motivated, proactive and capable of managing tasks independent
