We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities
* Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
* Provide excellent patient care by ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
* Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling using dental practice management software.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
* Collaborate effectively with the dental team to enhance overall patient experience.
* Perform administrative duties as required, including managing inventory of dental supplies.
What we are looking for
* Proven experience in a dental nursing role or relevant qualifications in nursing is preferred.
* Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
* Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication with patients and colleagues.
* Familiarity with IT systems used in dental practices is advantageous for managing records and scheduling.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and team members.
