We are currently recruiting Support Workers to join a specialist autism and learning disabilities service in Nottingham.

About the Service
You\ll be working in a structured and supportive environment that uses Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles to help individuals achieve positive outcomes and enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver person-centred support to individuals with autism and learning disabilities, ensuring dignity, respect, and choice at all times.
* Support with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household responsibilities.
* Encourage and facilitate participation in community activities, social events, and educational or vocational opportunities.
* Follow and contribute to individual care plans and PBS plans, ensuring consistent and effective support.
Requirements
Essential:
* Previous experience supporting people with autism and/or learning disabilities.
* A person-centred and empathetic approach to care.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable:
* NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
* Training in Autism Awareness, Positive Behaviour Support, or Makaton.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (advantageous but not essential).
