We’re looking for a skilled, hands‑on Pizza Chef to join our busy, friendly pub and help us deliver consistently great food for our guests. What You’ll Be Doing Preparing, stretching, and cooking high‑quality pizzas to order Managing dough prep, toppings, and mise en place Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness Working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team Helping with general kitchen duties during busy periods Ensuring consistency, speed, and quality during service What We’re Looking For Experience making pizzas in a professional kitchen (stone oven or deck oven experience ideal) Strong understanding of dough, temperature control, and cooking times Ability to stay calm and organised during busy services A positive attitude and willingness to support the team Reliability, good communication, and pride in your work What We Offer Up to £34,000 per annum plus TRONC 35% discount on all drinks, food and accommodation across every Balfour site and Balfour Winery Flexible hours to suit you and your work/life balance Accredited members of “Wellbeing Promise”, meaning we are an employer who really does care!
