Job Role: Field Service Engineer (Mechanical)
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Salary: £33,000-£35,000 base salary (OTE £45,000-£60,000pa)
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
The client:
Interaction have partnered with a rapidly expanding, rewarding and innovate organisation based in the Wiltshire area to support the growth of their engineering team. Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a skilled electromechanical engineer interested in learning, developing and progressing within the Compact Plant industry.
The package:
1. 28 days annual leave including bank holidays + 1 additional day per year / up to 25 days + Bank

6. Operate in a 3 hour radius of your location with door to door paid

The Duties:
8. To attend breakdowns, service and PPM’s on an array of industrial scale compactor systems within the waste management industry.
9. The use of manual hand tools (Spanners, Screwdrivers), electrical hand tools (powered drills, grinders), lifting equipment (lifting slangs, hoists etc), Hot working tools (Blowtorch, heat guns)
10. To carry out electrical, electronic, mechanical fault finding alongside elements of hydraulic systems.
11. To manage your time effectively to ensure work is carried out to a high standard in a timely manner.
12. Update job reports and order parts when necessary.
13. Ensure Health & Safety Procedures are followed
The Requirements:
14. Electrical, Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience would be advantageous.
15. Any previous experience with MIG/TIG Welding 0 Advantageous but not essential
16. A good level of electrical or mechanical knowledge, similar roles could include plant engineer, maintenance engineer, hydraulic engineer, pneumatic engineer, mechanical fitter, forklift engineer.
17. Experience using electrical & mechanical tools.
18. Previous experience as a mechanical, electrical or field based engineer. Any experience surrounding hydraulic systems/hoses, mechanical fault finding & repair alongside some base electrical work
19. Full UK Drivers License
