Roundpeg is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with experience in paint shop operations for a crucial 3 to 6-month contract role. This position is integral to improving the efficiency and quality of our client's paint shop processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for: Analyzing and enhancing current paint shop processes to ensure optimal efficiency and product quality. Identifying areas for improvement and implementing engineering solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate projects and ensure adherence to timelines. Developing and maintaining documentation related to processes, procedures, and best practices. Conducting training sessions for staff on new procedures, equipment, and technologies. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring that our client's manufacturing processes meet both quality and safety standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements - Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, specifically within paint shop operations. - Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies. - Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions. - Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. - Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualifications, with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. - Immediate availability to commence the contract and willingness to travel to various sites as required.
