We are seeking a skilled and Qualified Litigation Solicitor to join our corporate client-specific motor claims handling team. This role involves managing a pre and post-litigated caseload, providing support across the department, and ensuring compliance with client service level agreements and key performance indicators. You will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional claims handling services and contributing to the overall success of the department. How you'll make an impact Manage a portfolio of pre and post-litigated motor claims with precision and professionalism, ensuring compliance with client service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). Conduct effective negotiations via telephone and written correspondence with third parties, insurers, and their representatives to achieve timely and fair settlements. Ensure data accuracy and financial compliance by maintaining 100% data integrity within the case management system and adhering to financial protocols, including The Solicitors Accounts Rules. Provide expert litigation support, acting as a key point of reference for litigation-related queries, reviewing and approving legal documents, and overseeing litigated cases listed for trial to secure positive outcomes. Deliver training and mentorship, supporting the development of team members through technical progression programmes, conducting progression reviews, and providing litigation training to claims handlers. Contribute to departmental success, assisting with auditing processes, participating in ad hoc projects, and offering technical expertise or training to other offices as required. Play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional claims handling services, ensuring the highest standards of client satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of the department. About You Qualified solicitor. Expertise in motor handling within a legal or insurance setting. Demonstrable self-motivation and initiative. Ability to work independently within a structured framework and collaborate effectively with peers and managers. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Eligible to work in the UK.
