Dovecote School is an Ofsted-registered independent special school (ages 5–18) supporting pupils with autism and associated needs and SEMH. We’re looking for a Middle School Teacher who can build strong relationships, create calm routines, and deliver engaging learning that helps pupils reconnect with education.
You will:
* Teach and support middle school pupils with SEN/SEMH needs
* Create a safe, therapeutic learning environment
* Adapt teaching to EHCPs and individual support plans
* Work closely with TAs, therapists and families
* Uphold safeguarding and contribute to a positive staff culture
We’re looking for:
* Qualified Teacher (or substantial tutoring/teaching experience)
* Calm, reflective, adaptable approach
* Strong classroom practice and commitment to inclusive education
* SEN/SEMH experience preferred (not essential)
