What The Role Is All About
We are recruiting Match Operations Assistants for UEFA Football operations. This role involves setting up and operating our systems at football stadiums across Europe for various competitions, including the Champions League, Europa League, and international European matches.
Working Day Expectations
* Setup Day: Starts around 9 am the day before the match
* Match Day: Arrival up to 7 hours before kick-off and up to 2 hours after the game
* Additional setup days may be required before match day
* The role requires flexibility with work hours based on team needs
We seek committed and passionate individuals willing to work throughout the UEFA matches to ensure consistency. Most work will be midweek, on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, aligned with the UEFA calendar.
We provide technical training, support, and exposure to our systems, with opportunities for development and progression. This role is an entry point into full-time employment at Hawk-Eye Innovations Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary per match, with typically up to two responsibilities assigned:
* Set up medical systems, including cabling, software launch, troubleshooting, and supporting medical teams
* Set up audio systems, including cabling, testing, troubleshooting, and liaising with match officials
* Work with the EPTS Team Lead to set up and troubleshoot electronic performance and tracking systems
* Set up and operate the Referee Review Area monitor, including testing and troubleshooting
Additional responsibilities include:
* Contributing to the setup of goal-line and video review systems
* Conducting pre-match system checks
* Liaising with officials, stadium personnel, and broadcasters
* Monitoring systems during matches
* Organizing logistics for travel between stadiums
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Proactive attitude and ability to work independently
* Time management skills in high-pressure environments
* Professional communication skills in English
* Flexibility with irregular working hours
Preferred skills include a technical background, interest in sports, experience with broadcast technology, willingness to travel, and a driving license.
