The Roebuck Hampstead is looking for a brilliant Head Chef to lead the kitchen and make their mark on our food offer. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows their craft, cares deeply about daily fresh ingredients, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment.
From daily specials to full seasonal overhauls, our Head Chefs have the autonomy and creativity to shape their menus and bring their ideas to life. If you’re passionate about showcasing the best of British produce with bold flavours and fresh thinking, you’ll feel right at home. You'll have control over our fully bespoke seasonal menus, with the trust and flexibility to innovate, adapt, and surprise our guests.

What we look for in a Head Chef:
This role requires someone who can inspire a team, bring out potential, and lead by example while developing, costing, and producing fresh seasonal menus for various revenue streams within the business.
* Experience championing excellent service through quality food, either as a Head Chef or Sous Chef
* A passion for leading and developing a team
* Hands-on team player with excellent communication skills
* Responsibility for managing the kitchen staff rota, training, and health and safety effectively
* Creativity and ability to design and deliver new dishes for menus and specials
* Strong planning and organisational skills to maintain effective controls regarding GP and labour
* A proactive approach to driving sales and growth through engagement with kitchen and front of house teams
