Purpose of Role
We are recruiting for a Document Controller to support our VINCI Construction team in Rainham, working on long-term commercial refurbishment frameworks dedicated to Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) and Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH).
Job Description
The Document Controller will manage high-volume project documentation, ensuring all design information and records are captured, controlled, and stored methodically within Aconex for easy retrieval by site teams. You will ensure compliance with company standards and support the smooth flow of information across both hospital projects.
Responsibilities
* Document Control experience in construction, handling high-volume documentation
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Experience using software management systems – Aconex
* Strong communication skills to liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and hospital client stakeholders
Essential Qualifications/Skills
* Acting as point of contact for intake, receipt, and handling of controlled documentation
* Timely electronic capture of documentation in Aconex
* Maintaining version control and ensuring compliance with project and company standards
* Supporting project teams at QEH and PRUH by providing access to accurate, up-to-date records
* Generating and distributing internal and external documentation reports as required
