Job Title: Highways Technical Support Officer
Salary: £27,269 - £31,067 per annum | Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week | Pro Rata

Lancashire Highways Service is responsible for the delivery of all highways-related schemes across the County, managing 4,300 miles of road, 151,000 streetlights, and 2,955 bridges.
We have an excellent opportunity for a Highways Technical Support Officer based at Cuerden Depot within the Countywide Maintenance Team.
The post holder will manage highway enquiries from the public and elected members, providing technical responses, demonstrating exceptional customer focus skills. The role includes conducting highways site inspections to identify works for delivery in accordance with LCC policies and procedures, using standard office and mapping software, assisting with office duties, ordering and quality checking works, updating live inventories, and supporting technicians and engineers with various tasks.
This is a permanent position, subject to a six-month probationary period.
