The Treasury Analyst – The role is based in Chennai, India, reporting to the Treasurer of Linxon in the UK. Although physically located with the larger Linxon Finance team in India, the role primarily supports the AMEA region, including Bahrain, Jordan, Iraq, UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, and Thailand.
What will you do?
1. Cash Management: Prepare weekly cash forecasts with variance reporting; support local cash requirements and liquidity issues.
2. Reporting: Assist in presenting monthly results to management.
3. Trade Finance: Support issuance of bank guarantees, liaise with the guarantees team in Montreal, monitor guarantees, and handle LC documentation & discounting.
4. Capital Structure: Manage loan administration and documentation; assist with journal postings and interest calculations.
5. Banking Administration: Control bank accounts and mandates, ensure online access and signature authority, coordinate account openings/closings.
6. Process Improvement: Review and support process improvement projects; manage inter-company receivables/payables.
7. Other: Conduct ad hoc treasury analyses; manage compliance of credit lines and reporting to banks.
Experience and Education Required:
* 6-10 years of treasury experience in an international business.
* MBA, CA, or CMA qualification.
* Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion is a plus.
* Understanding of IFRS and general accounting principles.
