HGV Class 1 Driver London Gateway Driver Require are recruiting reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing full time work with one of our prestigious clients based in London Gateway completing deliveries from the DC to various store locations. We have options for DAY or NIGHT drivers HGV Class 1 Driver role details: 7 Day operation Delivery of white goods - some palletised but majority is white goods Tail lift deliveries PM Work Trunking to Newark, Bristol and LGW AM store work 2/3 drops, some CSC deliveries as well (curtain trailers) AM start time = 05.00 - 08.00 (STORES) PM Start time = 17.00 - 23.30 (TRUNKING) Assessment / Induction Required. - if passed a rota pattern of 5 on 3 off for continuous ongoing work, we can also look at other requests HGV Class 1 Driver pay rates Monday to Friday: Day shifts: £18.74 p/h PAYE Night shifts: £19.79 p/h PAYE Saturday s £20.84 p/h PAYE Sundays / Bank Holidays: £21.89 p/h PAYE Candidate requirements: Valid HGV Class 1 licence with no more than 6 points on license (no major endorsements) Minimum 1 year experience driving HGV Class 1 Flexible availability to meet shift requirements Good knowledge of Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive regulations Must pass an assessment following with an induction ApplyToday!
