Quality Engineer (Night Shift)
12 month contract
Based in Broughton
Offering £32.96ph Inside IR35

As the Quality Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.
You will be involved in:
* Providing specialist Quality support and advice on drawings, parts, processes, and support services, and to independently assure that Quality requirements have been met
* Assure that the Quality system is being adhered to within the business by the business through surveillance activities
* Assure that certification processes are consistently defined and applied within the business
* Coordination and leadership of reported quality / technical issues from business teams and customers, ensuring that appropriate corrective and preventive action is taken
* Performing initial investigations (e.g., Events, QLB’s, NC’s) to assess probable root cause, informing the accountable function, and ensuring corrective and preventative action is taken
* Conduct investigations to assess the probable root cause of any deficiency noted during process confirmation activities, informing the accountable function, and ensuring corrective and preventive action is taken
* Compile and present Quality overview to the leadership team within the business area
Your skillset may include:
* Ability to interpret drawings
* Ability to problem solve and use associated problem-solving tool sets (PPS, 5Y, Ishikawa etc.)
* Good interpersonal skills - ability to challenge appropriately whilst maintaining strong relationships
* Data analysis skills - interpret data sets, graphical data and draw conclusions
* Work well as part of an integrated team alongside operational and cross-functional team members
* Quality or engineering based background within a major manufacturing industry
