We have an opportunity for you. Our Policy and Insight Managers play a key role in ensuring that the Council and its Team Doncaster partners have a clear strategic vision for Doncaster, and that the Council has in place services and projects to contribute to this collective ambition.

Based within the Policy, Insight and Change team, Policy and Insight Managers work with Council services and Team Doncaster partners across a range of policy areas. This job share post (22 hours per week) is a technical role with a strong focus on data analysis and business analysis.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping strategic decisions through evidence-based insight, stakeholder engagement, and commercial development.

Duties include

* Lead business intelligence and data analysis efforts to support the implementation of the corporate Data Strategy.
* Engage stakeholders and gather requirements to inform service design and transformation.
* Perform data audits and quality assurance to ensure reliable evidence for decision-making.
* Assist in commercial development through analytical insights and strategic recommendations.
* Provide data and analytical advice to officers and services on various areas.
* Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver outcomes.
* Represent the service and Council with internal and external stakeholders.

We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical and technical skills, including experience in data analysis, business analysis, and stakeholder engagement. You should be confident working with complex datasets, translating business needs into actionable insights and communicating findings clearly to diverse audiences. Adaptability, collaboration, and resilience in navigating political dynamics are essential to drive long-term impact. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization with the delivery of the data strategy and driving innovation across various projects and initiatives.
