We're looking for compassionate, motivated Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated team.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Therapy Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our resident's day to day. This is a hands-on, person-centred role where no two days are the same.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
To monitor and provide feedback to the relevant Therapist on a patient's progress and adjust programmes after discussion with the relevant team member.
To participate in the risk assessment process and implement recommendations with service delivery.
Providing emotional support and companionship
Working closely with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team
Delivering care in line with individual care plans
You'll take the time to get to know each resident and support them in a way that respects their goals, preferences and independence.
To Be Successful In This Role
Experience of working with people who have cognitive, physical or mood impairments caused by neurological injury
Knowledge of the rehabilitation process including treatment packages, goal setting and use of outcome measures
To be approachable, friendly and passionate about supporting and empowering individuals
