Do you have extensive experience in policy roles and managing teams within a complex political environment? Are you skilled at handling a diverse and demanding workload with multiple workstreams? Do you excel at developing and maintaining effective partnership working across statutory, voluntary and community sectors?
This is an opportunity for an innovative, adaptable and dynamic individual with expertise in people management, policy development, research, commissioning and programme delivery. In this role you will collaborate across four police forces in England, influencing national, regional and local policies while working with a wide range of organisations, from government departments to local grass roots organisations and everything in between.
You will be required to work closely with four Police and Crime Commissioners, four Chief Constables and four Chief Executives to develop regional governance structures across the region. You’ll be responsible for drafting and ensuring successful delivery of the regional objectives within the four Police and Crime Plans. Your expertise in collaboration and your ability to influence, commission and innovate impactful projects will be key. You will also engage with a variety of multi-disciplinary organisations, working with local partners to design and implement priorities and strategies.
You will oversee a complex portfolio, driving the development and execution of strategies and action plans. A such we are seeking a candidate with prior management experience within a complex setting.
