Commercial Account handler
Birmingham - Hybrid
£45,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)
Barker Munro Recruitment is assisting a leading insurance broker to recruit an experienced Account Handler with a strong background in Commercial Insurance, ideally from a broking environment. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of your own book of business consisting of large Commercial accounts.
About the Role:
Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, overseeing day-to-day requirements including renewals, mid-term adjustments, and client queries
Support Account executives with placement strategies for renewals
Gather and review underwriting information, ensuring client needs are fully understood
Prepare and submit market presentations in collaboration with placement teams
Use online trading systems to negotiate renewal terms
About You:
Commercial account handling experience in handling the full renewal process for commercial insurance.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple enquiries.
Sound business awareness with the ability to understand client needs and service plans
