Job Description
British Airways is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Material Controller to join our engineering and logistics team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the UK’s most iconic aviation brands, supporting the smooth delivery of aircraft maintenance and operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure materials are available when needed.
* Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to coordinate timely deliveries.
* Maintain accurate records of stock movements and usage.
* Support engineering teams by ensuring the right parts are in the right place at the right time.
* Conduct regular stock audits and resolve discrepancies.
* Contribute to process improvements in material handling and logistics.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a materials control, inventory, or supply chain role.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with the ability to work across departments.
* Proficient in inventory systems and Microsoft Office.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
