We are seeking a talented engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in:
* Designing highly loaded mechanical components and systems
* Operating in an engineering-led, challenging mechanical engineering environment
Additionally, candidates should demonstrate knowledge of:
* Internal combustion engines, their systems, and energy recovery systems
Qualifications include:
* A minimum of a 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
* Passion for engineering, creativity, innovation, curiosity, and commitment to high standards
* Autonomy, ownership, and responsibility in work
* A relentless pursuit of perfection
Responsibilities include:
* Converting creative ideas into hardware that impacts the race track within weeks
* Creating and validating innovative engineering solutions that meet performance and cost targets
* Developing robust models and engineering drawings for design release
* Technically developing Power Unit components and systems
* Solving complex problems and analyzing failures
* Writing test requests, reviewing results, and preparing technical reports
* Building strong inter-departmental relationships and liaising with suppliers
