Job Description
The responsibilities for the Director of Property Services include:
* Strategic leadership of property services, including repairs, maintenance, compliance, and capital works.
* Development and implementation of asset management strategies.
* Oversight of investment programs and new building projects.
* Managing compliance and safety programs.
* Leading digital transformation initiatives.
* Building partnerships with contractors and stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
Ideal candidates will have:
* Minimum 5 years' senior management experience in property services, preferably in social housing.
* Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Building Surveying, Facilities Management).
* Membership of professional bodies (RICS, CIH, CIOB).
* Experience managing large-scale repairs and maintenance.
* Strong financial skills and budget management experience.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Proven success in service improvement and cultural change.
* Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
* Availability to participate in on-call rotations and attend evening meetings.
* Commitment to safeguarding and welfare.
