Matchtech is currently seeking a skilled Site Agent to oversee highway projects in London. This contract role focuses on Transport for London (TFL) schemes, including road upgrades and cycleway installations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing and supervising the day-to-day operations on TFL highway projects
* Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with project plans and specifications
* Coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
* Monitoring project progress and maintaining project documentation
* Conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
* Providing technical guidance and support to on-site personnel
* Reporting on project status to senior management
* Facilitating effective communication and problem-solving on-site
Job Requirements:
* Experience in managing highway projects, particularly within the HTP sector
* Strong understanding of TFL schemes and project requirements
* Proven ability to supervise and coordinate multiple on-site activities
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality control standards
* Effective communication and leadership abilities
* Relevant qualification in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
