With a strong presence across the UK and over 150 years of heritage, this firm is nationally recognised for its expertise in housing and property litigation, acting for Registered Providers, local authorities, and private landlords across England and Wales.

The Role
* Managing your own caseload of housing management and property litigation matters
* Handling injunctions, possession claims, and disrepair claims
* Advising on non-contentious housing management matters, including policy advice
* Supporting partners on large and complex cases
* Acting for Registered Providers, local authorities, and private landlords
* Supervising junior staff, including paralegals
* Delivering practical, commercially focused legal advice
* Managing client relationships and expectations effectively
* Contributing to marketing and business development initiatives
* Preparing and delivering client training sessions

Key Responsibilities
* Day-to-day management of a varied housing litigation caseload
* Conducting possession proceedings, injunction applications, and disrepair claims
* Advising on housing management policies and procedures
* Supporting on complex and high-value litigation matters
* Supervising and mentoring junior team members
* Managing multiple deadlines across a busy caseload
* Maintaining strong client communication and service standards
* Engaging in marketing and client development activities
About You
The ideal candidate will be technically strong, commercially aware, and ready to make an impact. You will have:
* Qualified Solicitor or CILEx Lawyer (with Civil Litigation Practice Rights)
* A minimum of 3 years’ PQE in housing management and property litigation
* Experience managing your own caseload independently
* Strong technical knowledge of housing litigation procedures
* Ability to supervise junior staff effectively
* Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and online systems
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
* Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Resilience, focus, and determination to achieve positive outcomes
* A collaborative approach with enthusiasm and drive
