You will join us on a permanent basis, with Full Time or Part Time hours available. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £13 per hour. About the Support Worker role: As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and wellbeing of the individual(s) we support. You will assist and encourage people with their evening routines and activities, while providing consistent physical and emotional support throughout the night. Your presence will help create a safe, secure, and calming environment, ensuring each person feels comfortable and enjoys a restful night. As a support worker with Thera, you will be part of an inclusive team supporting adults with a learning disability. Using a person-centred approach, you will help create innovative ways to support an individual achieve their own personal goals. The ways of supporting will change with everyone you work with because everyone has different ambitions. Supporting people in their daily lives is varied and may also include helping someone develop new skills, help plan and manage their own home, support with leisure activities, interests, and travel.
