We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Purchasing Assistant to support our client in sourcing quality, cost-effective goods and services from trusted suppliers. This is a dynamic, collaborative role working in a market leading business.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting the Senior Buyer to maintain a reliable flow of approved supplier goods and services
*
Building strong, effective supplier relationships to drive savings and efficiency in indirect spend categories
*
Assisting with supplier negotiations and managing performance against SLAs
*
Contributing to cross-functional procurement and supply chain projects
*
Collaborating with colleagues across departments to enhance procurement processes
What you’ll bring:

Proven purchasing/procurement/buying experience in a similar role
*
Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
*
Confidence in managing supplier performance through SLAs
*
A curious mind and a creative, solution-focused approach
*
A positive, can-do attitude with outstanding attention to detail

ERP system experience and strong admin, organisational and prioritisation skills
