About The Role
HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is required, and IT skills are a plus. The ideal candidate will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
The Maintenance Operative will ensure our residents live in a well-maintained environment by carrying out inspections, audits, and maintenance tasks such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or decorating. Kindness and professionalism are essential.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond appropriately. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional related training as needed.
