Resourcery Group are working with a specialist manufacturing business in North Wales to recruit an experienced Head of Finance to run the UK subsidiary of a global NYSE-listed business.
Reporting via a European Divisional CFO to the Group CFO in the US, the successful applicant must be an experienced manufacturing Head of Finance/ Finance Director with significant US reporting experience. Ideally the Head of Finance/Finance Director will be Practice-trained and technically astute (ideally ACA qualified). Given the US reporting requirements, a track record of reporting under US GAAP in a SOx compliant environment is essential. Turnover is circa €30m with around 100 UK employees. The finance team is small (3-4 heads) but experienced. This is a leadership role and the Head of Finance/Finance Director plays a central role in the UK SLT, directing and delivering Group strategic initiatives.
The UK business is part of a $7bn global listed business and thus career opportunities abound. The client has one eye of succession planning for the Divisional CFO in Europe so if you are interested in growing your career in a truly global business this could be the role for you.
Applicants must:
* Be ACA or ACCA qualified having trained in Practice; ideally Big4 or Top10.
* Possess extensive manufacturing experience.
* Be a seasoned Finance leader capable of growing a business, developing finance and delivering change.
* Possess robust US GAAP knowledge and retain hands-on reporting knowledge.
* Be able to display both progression in your career as well as stability.
