I am engaged on a project to recruit a Lead Enterprise Architect to join a prominent HealthTech brand that have expanded internationally. It’s a greenfield position with genuine global impact, excellent benefits and support for apany that promotes wellness and has a positive impact on people’s lives.
This role is offered UK Remote, with occasional days in either Bournemouth, London or Manchester. You must also be open to travel internationally to Singapore 3-4 times a year (expensed).
Your new role
This is a strategic, senior architecture role created to act as a technical bridge. The remit is to lead the structured transfer of platforms, services and code between global engineering teams - think enterprise architect + technical diplomat + platform evangelist across multiple geographies, predominantly the UK and Asia.
You’ll:
- Own architecturalernance, documentation and non functional requirements.
- Track and drive remediation of technical debt and legacy risks.
- Identify emerging platform capabilities and innovations and assess suitability for new markets.
- Lead the technical design and planning of joint development initiatives.
- Define architectural blueprints, integration models and delivery approaches.
- Act as a senior technical advisor to business (exec level) and technology leadership.
- Champion shared platforms to accelerate delivery, reduce cost and improve consistency.

What you'll need to succeed
We’re looking for lead enterprise architecture experience within the FinTech/Insurance/HealthTech sectors, progressing from a Solutions Architecture/Software Engineering background.
You must be able to engage at exec/board level, articulating business value for highly technical architecture concepts. Relationship management is key, dealing with scepticism, selling the vision and influencing key stakeholders. Beyond this you’ll understand the nuance and sensitivities of working across multiple timezones/geographies.
The tech stack is Java, Kafka, modern integration patterns/event driven architecture and Cloud (Aws / Azure / GCP are fine). We need strong experience building enterprise microservice architectures with security and scalability at the forefront.
