We are seeking a Director to lead the delivery of the Councils Environment & Regulatory Service in terms of both strategy and management responsibility.?You will ensure the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused services within your portfolio area and support with the delivery of achieving the Councils strategic direction and objectives.
Environmental Health Trading Standards Licensing Registrars Sport & Leisure Community Centres Green Spaces & Cemeteries Emergency Planning Community Safety You will set, model, and embed a culture that reflects the organisations values and behaviours, developing strong working relationships to overcome obstacles.
Your leadership will support staff to deliver services that make a tangible difference to our customers.
A post graduate management qualification, or willingness to work towards obtaining one.
Knowledge and understanding of the range of policy and operational issues confronting Environment and Regulatory services, and local government generally.
Experience of Senior Management and Leadership.
