Prospero Teaching are looking for a Secondary Humanities Teacher to teach both History and Geography in a school in the Basildon area, starting ASAP.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher who can confidently deliver engaging lessons across both subjects. Strong behaviour management skills and a commitment to inspiring students are essential.
CONTRACT DETAILS
Location - BasildonPosition - Secondary Humanities Teacher (History & Geography)Type of work - Full-time teaching roleStart date - ASAPDuration / Likely Duration - Long-term with potential to become permanentFull time/part-time - Full-timeHours - 08:00am - 15:45pm (Monday to Friday)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
* QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent
* Experience teaching History and/or Geography in a UK secondary school
* Up-to-date Safeguarding training (issued within the last year)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
* Provide two professional child-related references
