An established and growing accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Client Manager to join its team in Bury St Edmunds. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong client-facing experience to take ownership of a diverse portfolio while contributing to team leadership and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage your own portfolio of clients across a range of sectors
* Oversee client relationships, queries, and deadlines
* Prepare and review sole trader, partnership, and limited company accounts
* Prepare and review personal and corporate tax computations
* Prepare and review bookkeeping and VAT returns
* Support office operations, including workflow planning and staff coordination
* Assist with ad hoc assignments and project work
Requirements
* Experience within an accountancy practice
* ACCA / ACA qualified or part-qualified
* Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation
* Experience managing client relationships independently
* Highly organised with a methodical approach
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable
* Experience with cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Dext)
