Salary, hours and benefits
* A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings of up to £55,000 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable).
* A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
* 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
Role overview
As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.

* Earnings That Motivate - a market-competitive base salary of £38,625, with the opportunity to increase your earnings up to £50,000 through bonuses and premium-rate overtime. A full-time 40-hour week, with Monday–Saturday availability (8am–8pm), offers flexibility and stability.

What we’re looking for
* You're someone who gets people. You’ll engage with customers on driveways, offering advice and representing the RAC with pride.
* You like mixing things up. You’ll handle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs, plus stock management, reporting, and customer communication.
* You think on your feet. You’ll make the right call for each customer amid varying fixes and challenges.
What you’ll need
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
* At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
