A super 3-day Nanny position has arisen near the Chew Valley in Somerset.
The family are seeking a warm, professional and experienced nanny to provide care for their twin babies aged 9 months (in September). They would love to find someone confident in early childhood development while creating a loving and secure environment. Experience with twins is a plus but not required. Their parenting style is nurturing, calm and child-centred, with a strong focus on learning through communication and play. They value a laid-back, flexible atmosphere balanced with clear and consistent boundaries to encourage confidence and independence.
The position encompasses all childcare duties. They would like to find a nanny who can become a trusted and reliable part of their family, someone who is kind, caring and professional with a positive mindset. The parents encourage the nanny to organise and plan activities through the week, take the babies to local groups and spend lots of time outdoors exploring their environment.
It is important that the nanny has open communication with the parents to collaborate and support their chosen ethos. They are also open to proposals and ideas from the nanny to enable their children to thrive in their development and fully respect nannies’ experience and suggestions.
The family live in a beautiful home in the countryside, with a spacious garden and orchard to explore. They have a cat and chickens that roam in the garden. They are an active family who enjoy surfing, travel, hiking and cooking.
