Maths Teacher (QTS) - Full-time, Long-term
We are currently seeking an experienced Maths Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to teach in one of our secondary schools on a full-time, long-term basis. This role involves delivering pre-planned lessons, with time allocated within the schedule for marking and assessment duties.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Deliver engaging and effective pre-planned Maths lessons to students.
* Assess and mark student work, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
* Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
* Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Collaborate with other Maths department staff to enhance curriculum and share best practices.
* Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school functions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven experience as a Maths Teacher.
* Strong understanding of the mathematics curriculum and teaching methods.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to engage and inspire students in the subject matter.
