Nursery Teacher –Preston

Are you a nurturing and creative EYFS practitioner looking for a rewarding new role? A warm and inclusive primary school in Preston is seeking a Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team full-time from September 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and understands the importance of providing a secure, stimulating, and supportive environment for young children to thrive. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework, as well as fostering strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Proven experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Strong understanding of child development and early learning
* Enthusiastic, patient, and committed to high-quality early years education
ECTs (Early Career Teachers) with relevant EYFS experience are welcome and encouraged to apply – mentoring and support will be provided where required.
Pay Information:
The daily rate for this role ranges from £120 to £150, depending on experience. This rate is in place for the initial 12-week period.

After 12 weeks in the same role, Agency Worker Regulations (AWR) will come into effect. This ensures agency workers receive the same pay and conditions as permanent employees in the same role, including equivalent salary, access to internal vacancies, and aligned working terms. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
