As our Recovery Claims Handler, you’ll go the extra mile for our members. You will be instrumental in handling a portfolio of non-fault accident management claims and are responsible for the recovery of the costs incurred. You ensure each claim is proactively managed whilst keeping your customer updated, maintaining expectations and provide outstanding customer service with an effortless journey until the claim is successfully finalised.In return, we’ll go the extra mile for you, with training, support and opportunities for development. Drawing on your honed customer service skills, you’ll be on the phone liaising with third party insurers to negotiate settlement of claims using tactics to encourage the reimbursement of costs within the quickest possible timeframeA stickler for detail: Attention to detail is key as you manage your own portfolio of claims and see them through to settlement, handling any disputes along the way, the goal being to settle the claims with high successA self-starter: You will be content working independently, as well as collaborating as part of a team, supporting them when requiredWhat do I need?Excellent customer service skills in previous roles, ideally with claims, insurance, or recovery experience but this is by no means essentialTo be comfortable working on a weekly rotation of 8am – 4.30pm or 9.30am – 6pm shiftsThrives when working in a fast paced, target orientated environmentAdditional informationWe’re always looking to recognise and reward our employees for the work they do.
