It is not set in stone and it may change from week-to-week, but it gives an idea of what is expected from the role: Each month you will be involved in : Sales Ledger Raise sales invoices to clients and handle queries Credit control responsibilities Set up new clients including background checks Debtors reporting Purchase Ledger Post supplier invoices Prepare supplier payment runs Credit card back up documentation reconciliation Expense processing and payment in line with agreed policy Post accruals and prepayments as required Other duties Bank reconciliations Ad hoc reporting Who You Are Here’s an idea of the type of experience you’ve got along with an idea of what we think would be useful to also know: Knowledge and Experience Previous finance experience in a similar role Good experience with MS Excel Inquisitive, looking for the anomalies and nuances Excellent communication skills Organisation skills and able to work autonomous as well as a team Comfortable multi-tasking A good analytical mind who is keen to get into the detail and look at trends and variances Previous experience of online accounting software preferred (e.g. Xero, Sage) Preferred qualification AAT Experience in a service business is strongly preferred but not required Desiring remote working Benefits We’re fully remote and will support you from working from wherever you like Flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle 24 days holiday bank holidays an extra day holiday for each year worked Your birthday off Charity day Vitality private health cover (UK only) Pension Scheme Perkbox Long Service Bonus (5 years and 10 years) £1,000 referral bonus - Recommend a friend for a job!
