Overview
We are seeking a Professional Indemnity Senior Claims Handler to join our team at Caytons, a Gallagher Bassett company.
This role is essential in ensuring claims are handled efficiently, economically, and in line with service standards.
The successful candidate will enhance Caytons Claims' reputation as a leading TPA claims provider by delivering excellent service and maintaining high standards.
This position offers both hybrid and remote working options.
How you'll make an impact
* Investigate claims and develop strategies for prompt and cost-effective resolution.
* Meet departmental SLA’s and KPI’s, ensuring consistent service levels.
* Provide guidance and support to Claims Handlers and Assistants.
* Review policy coverage and liaise with panel solicitors as needed.
* Apply insurer clients’ claims and reserving philosophies consistently.
* Proactively investigate, negotiate, and use ADR to minimize litigation.
* Report and refer individual matters to insurer clients as required.
* Identify claim trends and ensure the quality of Management Information (MI).
About You
* Experience in a similar role; insurance or legal qualifications are a plus.
* Strong technical knowledge of Professional Indemnity claims and products.
* Customer-focused with a proven results-driven approach.
* Solid understanding of the industry, business, and market.
* High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work under tight deadlines.
