PBS Positive Behavioural Support Specialist Practitioner Permanent Southern Scotland Salary Details: up to £36,000 plus £3k car allowance This role is full time (37.5 hours per week) .

You must be driver with access to own car as the role covers the South of Scotland, with occasions where travel elsewhere in Scotland may be required.We are currently seeking a skilled Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) Specialist Practitioner within our South Scotland area.
This includes Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Lothians, Dumfries and Galloway and the Scottish Borders.
The PBS Practitioner will be the Regional Lead in the delivery of high Quality Positive Behavioural Support and be key to monitoring the Increase of Quality of life for the people supported.
With a flexible location, the PBS Specialist Practitioner will work with and support the Strategic PBS Lead incoordinatinga whole-organisational approach and strategy to enable this to be effective, and to quantify the impact both in terms of reduced behaviours and improved quality of life and developing and implementing a Positive Behaviour Culture. xjlbheb
You must have the following relevant experience and qualifications
- Level 5 PBS Qualification is essential andwillingness to work to level 6/7 orABA qualification with minimum one year working PBS experience Extensive experience of working with people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism who display behaviours of concern.
Experienceof carrying out Behaviour assessments within a Positive Behaviour Support Framework .
Experience of reducing the use of restrictive practices; including restrictive interventions
